Jonathan Patterson MD of DWF Ventures opened the evening by reflecting on the potential of technology to allow organisations to embed a culture of innovation and change. However, with successful change revolving around people and their ability to understand and deliver what is expected of them; the need for a diverse workforce to facilitate disruption and success is stronger than ever.

Sheri Hughes, UK Diversity and Inclusion Director at PageGroup spoke of how inclusion works when it becomes the responsibility of every department in a business and every element of their supply chain, a journey PageGroup have been on for 7 years. Aligned to this is the need to be able to measure change holistically, across all strands of inclusion – something that their use of Clear Assured has enabled them to do.

Key for Mark Lomas, Head of EDI at HS2 and Annette Andrews, Director of HR at Lloyd’s of London is the ability Clear Assured gives them to provide the latest expertise, direction and advice to multiple organisations of different sizes in their markets and supply chains and for them to be able to measure and see the progress being made. For them it means that their HR teams are free to concentrate on other specific projects knowing that real change and progress is ongoing.

As an HR software platform, Clear Assured is contributing strongly to the Market’s ability to attract and retain the best talent. By providing Lloyd’s with the ability to share their best practice across the Market it is driving consistent change to a single quality standard; through access to thought leadership, expert advice and practical solutions. Annette Andrews, Director of HR, Lloyd’s of London.

Deliberately designed to stretch businesses by allowing them to challenge current practice and behaviour, those who achieve each stringent level should be proud of themselves and confident that they are becoming a leader in diversity and inclusion. Employers can choose their own bespoke inclusion journey and know that Clear Assured supports them to become employers of choice in an increasingly competitive market for the best talent.
