Jenny Hinde – Executive Director
Jenny has more than 20 years’ experience as an HR Director, her most recent role as an HR Director of Amey saw her lead a successful Diversity and Inclusion agenda in the construction and engineering sector for 10 years. With a pan-diversity approach Jenny is highly experienced in defining the business case, setting the strategic direction and implementing robust solutions to diversity challenges. At the Clear Company she works closely with clients such as Network Rail, United Utilities and Highways England and has successfully developed and facilitated global inclusive leadership programmes in a variety of formats including coaching, virtual delivery and workshop events in order to align leaders to a common inclusion agenda, including 1:1 Executive coaching.
Alexandre Maria – Director of Clear Assured and Supply Chain
Alexandre Maria is a senior commercial professional. Passionate about diversity and inclusion, he recently changed career and joined The Clear Company bringing in his experience of leading an employee network in an international organisation. He has experience in gathering D&I data and influencing change at a senior level. Alex is particularly passionate about promoting an evidence based and holistic approach to diversity and inclusion and helping organisations engage with internal stakeholders to deliver their D&I strategy.
Claire Walmsley – Director of Learning and Development
As Director of Learning and Development, Claire leads our Clear Learning team in designing and delivering a wide range of innovative, impactful learning programmes and initiatives. An experienced leader, Claire works closely with clients to remove barriers to inclusion, facilitate positive behaviour change and allow underrepresented talent to shine. With extensive experience delivering large-scale diversity programmes across the public sector and central government, Claire brings specific expertise in working with high profile clients to improve individual, team and organisational performance. Claire is dedicated to helping leaders and teams create a working environment where employees are valued, empowered and motivated to do their best work.
Sarah Carey – Senior Learning Co-ordinator
Sarah is the Senior Learning Co-ordinator and is a key part of the Clear Company learning team, managing the logistics of training delivery for our clients. During her time with the Clear Company, she has been responsible for managing the co-ordination of major training delivery both virtually and face to face in the UK and globally, continuously improving the processes in place. Sarah is responsible for day-to-day management of learning delivery and assisting the team and clients with planning future learning programmes.
Anna Mäkinen – Head of Clear Assured
Anna is an experienced Talent Acquisition and People Operations professional having managed end to end hiring processes as an external recruiter and more recently as an HR Talent Acquisition Partner working with senior teams in a variety of sectors including IT and Retail. At the Clear Company Anna leads the commercial development strategy of Clear Assured ensuring that the Diversity and Inclusion Standard continues to deliver thought leading D&I content as well as supporting clients in their use and progress of the Standard.
Addam Radha – Senior Consultant, Clear Assured
Addam has a MSc in Occupational Psychology. Addam has passion and expertise in understanding the needs of organisations and translating those needs into impactful interventions. Currently Addam supports a range of clients on their Clear Assured journeys. Addam also leads on the Clear Company’s disability confidence validations as well as specialising in developing inclusive behavioural frameworks and recruitment processes for clients.
Maria Carolina Baggio – Senior Consultant
Maria has worked extensively with global businesses in the finance and retail sectors designing and delivering Audit research workshops focusing on cultural assessment and impact. Maria has particular expertise in Gender diversity and workplace relations. At the Clear Company she is responsible for audit and strategy work where her expertise in balancing D&I consistency with local nuances has formed an essential part of global Audit research for a global insurance organisation.
Sellisha Lockyer – Senior Consultant
Sellisha has been working to support organisations on their diversity and inclusion journey for the last seven years in her employment and voluntary work. This has included setting up and managing networks, redesigning recruitment processes, progressive policy development, campaign management, diversity data analysis and a focus on facilitating systemic culture change. Passionate about intersectionality, Sellisha has been working closely on gender and race equity, supporting organisations to be actively anti-racist, improve their gender equity and consider intersections, so that those most marginalised are brought to the centre of focus in D&I work.
Susan Abumere – Senior Consultant
Susan is a diversity and inclusion enthusiast with experience in using solution-focused approaches to management and organizational change and leading on research projects with clients in the private and public sectors. Susan contributes to and supports the delivery of projects for the Clear Company clients, including training, audit, research, and events, with a specific focus on race.
James Chave – Learning Consultant and Facilitator
At the Clear Company, James is responsible for Inclusive Hiring solutions, designing and delivering programmes for different clients. In the last few years, he has worked with training agencies to provide skills training to a global client base, in these roles he has worked with hundreds of people in dozens of businesses and a variety of sectors. James has also spent time working with and volunteering for Social Enterprise organisations on a variety of capability projects.
Karishma Patel – Consultant
Karishma uses her BSc Psychology degree to provide a pan diverse, intersectional lens across Clear Assured, reviewing client submissions and providing meaningful feedback to support their progress, and engaging in research to develop content. She has been involved in a variety of projects at the Clear Company, including working in the learning side of the organisation, assessing accredited workshops, as well as contributing to audit projects. Karishma is passionate about improving awareness around diversity and inclusion across the employee lifecycle, particularly regarding the inclusion of emerging talent, neurodiversity, and disability in the workplace.
Georgios Vordos – Consultant
Georgios became passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion on the basis of his own lived experiences. Disability, LGBTQ issues and systemic inequality are his main topics of interest, which he was able to further explore in his Master’s in Gendering Practices at the University of Gothenburg. Having lived and worked in many different cultural environments further strengthened his conviction for the importance of an intersectional approach to his work. Believing that effective D&I work necessitates continuous upskilling, curiosity and research, he is currently working on his second Master’s in Human Resource Management
